Itching tummy and legs HELP!

any ideas what i can use on really itchy skin? my tummy is itching like mad, starting to get little bumps on my stretch marks coz i really cant stop myself

and now my legs are getting more itchy too

ive tried using baby oil/lotion and stretch mark cream, but they sting a little and then dont seem to stop the itching once the stinging stops. have also tried putting a damp flannel over bump to cool it down, but the baba doesnt like it and kicks loads when i put it on.

im tired and want to get some sleep tonight, has anyone got any advice at all?

I don't have any suggestions for tonight but defo go to the docs tomorrow, hopefully he'll provide you with something that will help x

go to your doctors asap this can be a sign of problems with liver called OC its sadly common in pregnancy it could just be streched skin but i wouldn't chance it.

id never really thought it could be anything other than just skin stretching. i will ring docs in morning and see what they say. thanks ladies x

It could be PUPPS/PUPPPS. If it is the dr will give you a steroid cream.
If not, then it could be a pregnancy rash. I have one. And I gave birth nearly 3 weeks ago! I've had it for months. My entire body is scarred from scratching and making myself bleed.

All I can recommend is a cool bath, and some e45 itch relief. And some antihistamines (sp). And try not to scratch. Rub with the palm of your hand if you have to x

have you tried benodryl or an aloe gel? I know aloe is supposed to sooth the skin!

I'm almost positive it's PUPPS because it normally starts off as bumps in stretch marks, call doc or mw, and try benadryl cream for the itching and reg. benadryl for sleeping it def helps and is safe i promise my doc has been telling me to take it for a number of things since its one of the safest meds you can take esp. in the third trimester! Also try aveeno lotion for super dry skin it works wonders for me when i'm itchy. And don't worry if it is PUPPS it's normal and doesn't affect the baby at all just makes mommy really itchy Hope you feel better hun!!

I have a terribly painfully itchy bump with spots all over my bump. Saw mw on Tuesday and mine isn't PUPPS cos it's not on my legs or anything and I don't have stretchmarks. Absolutely nothing helps and I actually cried last night it was so painfully itchy!

M going to get some aloe Vera from holland and Barrett as that's the only rung I can think of that might help I'm so desperate now it's affecting my sleep now so know how miserable you feel x
