apparently my niece has just got a letter from school to day that the last day of this month they are having a 'Mad Hair Day'. Basically they can wear their hair however, the more funky/mad the better. Well My sister just doesnt have a clue what to do so any idea's would be greatly appreciated. My niece has long thick but straight blonde hair, about elbow length. The Boys usually just do the whole spray your hair a colour thing but surely you can do more with girls???
Thanks everyone

Crimp it then brush it so it makes a huge fizzy mess (not sure if that would work with thick hair - mine is fine and would go huge!)
Put it in to loads of bunches/plaits and use coloured hair spray to do each one a different colour.
All as many hair accessories as possible, all at the same time.
Plait her hair with lots of little plaits and put different coloured ribbons going through each one.
