Lucas has taken to blowing big bubbles and spitting all his food out at all mealtimes. That or shaking his head and refusing his food. To top all that he won't go to 3 bottles. He just takes piddly 4 ounces every 4 hours then a bigger bottle that he does t take a bedtime but decides to take whenever he wakes which is anytime between 2030 to midnight!

Started off well but it's getting harder every day. I had to put him in his cot before as I was getting upset and feeling really tense. :(

ah hun, i dont know what to say. Try to stay calm cos if he senses your getting stressed about the whole thing, it will make him tense and mealtimes will become a battle. how many oz does he take a day? Are you giving him purees or finger food? xx

Doing a mixture of both. He's been a bit better now. Just had mixed berries mixed with natural yoghurt and some rusk. For main I just let him have cheese on toast as he refused the meal I'd prepared but rather than get upset I calmly threw it a d gave him picky foods. Maybe he's getting sick of spoon feeds? Then again tho he'll take faves like yoghurt, cauli and broc cheese etc off me. It's just me expecting him to take to a new taste first time which is bad of me.

He has about 23 ounce of milk a day. Again just me wishing it was 3 bottles. He won't entertain milk in a sippy cup either even though he picks it up and drinks plenty of water from it.

Ha! I could have written that!! LO just rasperrys food out and is currently Anti-spoon (even empty ones!!) he'll pick at his finger foods, but not much goes in, and eventually he screams and throws it overboard!!

Ditto with the bottles too, he'll have 7am, 12, and 5pm, then again sometime after 9pm!

Where bouts in cheshire are you? I'm near Macclesfield!

Hey just seen your response! Got a bit better with Lucas yesterday. He ate weetabix with plum and banana puree, then I made him salmon, broccoli, spinach with cheese sauce and a bit of potato in followed by yoghurt and for tea had more of the salmon and for dessert rusk and natural yoghurt with berries. He dropped his mid afternoon bottle too so thought he'd have one at bedtime but he still waited til half nine! lol. Hope things get better for you.

I am in Poynton! We live very close with babies pretty much the same age :)
