So, I am back to CD1 today. After what I thought was implantation bleeding and cramping, the witch got me today. I was so upset. I am feeling very defeated about not being able to conceive after our last MC. I was out on the front porch pouting like a big baby.... and I looked up just in time to see a shooting star.

I started feeling hopeful and closed my eyes as tight as they would go and made a wish. (I bet we all know what THAT wish was!)... and my DH walked outside.
I told him that I just saw a shooting star....His reply:

"Why do people make wishes on something that is dying"

Thanks honey.

Sounds like something cynical my hubby would say. Sometimes it can be in response to sth I say with the tamest intentions, with the most positivity and he has to turn it into a philosophical debate about how wrong my dream is or how illogical my thinking is. So you wished on a shooting star. Didnt cost you nothing. Would it be asking too much to play along with your positivity and optimism? Men! Thank God. They are not always like that! :hugs: to you!

Thanks everyone. I think I am going to lay off the TTC next month. No OPKs, no keeping track. Just sex when we want it and hope for the best. I can't take the emotional rollercoaster.

I'm sorry hun :hugs:

Men! :dohh:

I saw a post about "the ring test" (where you predict how many kids you're gonna have) last week and even though I'm not gonna put all my hopes into it, it seemed fun. So I showed DH the youtube video and tried to get him to do it. He thought it was the stupidest thing he had ever heard and wouldn't NOT do it properly at all. I finally got him to do it right one time, but he hated the idea so much that it was hard getting him to even take 5 minutes out of his cynical life to just humor me!!

hi

I believe that when something/one special dies its to make way for something/someone special to be born so depends on how you think about it.

id say it was a nice sign
