hi i was just wondering if anyone on here knows the full cost of iui in the uk including all appointments meds etc

Hi there

I was really lucky because just before I my treatment the NHS confirmed funding. even though 6 months earlier I was told they don't fund IUI?

If I had paid all in all it would have been about £900. £650 for the procedure and the rest on all the drugs. I am lucky that I have a fab fertility clinic practicaly on my door step.

My advice would be to go on the hfea website and look at the clinics in your area.

Most private clinics are used by the NHS, so you never know you could get lucky like I did.

Hi there,

I'm having IUI privately in London and in total i think the cost for 1 round is going to be around £750 which is the IUI plus a baseline diagnostic scan. We had already had most of the tests done in the NHS which the clinic accepted. Also, because we went to the clinic where our NHS consultant also works we got the initial consultation free (which would have been around £150 i think). I'm only doing Clomid and a trigger shot so not paying for any other drugs.
