I've got lockjaw :(

And it hurts soooo much! I woke up this morning and tried to yawn and my mouth wouldn't open more than a few centimetres. I've managed to eat a few biscuits and drink water, but I can't open my mouth wide enough to get anything else in & I can just about talk! OH just made me a sandwich and I couldn't get it in my mouth!

Has any one else ever had this? I think the medical name for it is Trismus.

Hurt for quite a few weeks When you can open your mouth a bit, it really hurts when you yawn, and it helps if you put your fist under your mouth to hold your mouth kinda closed because it kills to yawn.

My jaw locked for a few days when a wisdom tooth was coming in. Maybe yours is the same?

Well it's still here . I managed to open my mouth wide enough to brush my teeth properly this morning, but I tried to yawn again when I woke up and OH THE AGONY!!!! I've had it before, but it's never lasted longer than a few hours! My jaw really hurts
