Hi ladies. I am interested in getting a loan for IVF. I have two children already. But it took over 9 years for me to conceive the second. I think I may need to get IVF. But I was wonding if I can get a loan for it since my insurance does not cover it.

where in the world are you??how old are you??if youre under 35 and in uk have you maybe thought about be an egg sharer??

i have been on clomid 6 month had 2 m/c on it i have to go back and see fs if af show s wensday i think my fs wants us to have ivf but not got the money so i was think in eggs donation xxxxxxxx

I am in the US. I have never heard of egg share. I dont even know if they offer that here. I am only 29. But I would like to get IVF done if it does not happen for me sooner or later. I can not keep going on like this.

I just want to know any loan companys I can call to help. If anyone knows of any.

Have you tried options like clomid? Have you had investigations to see what the issue is? Only IVF isn't suitable for all and if you know what youre up against there may be cheaper options like clomid, IUI etc x

It is like any other loan, a bank should loan you the money OR the fertility clinic which you have ivf at should have the info for many different places that would loan you money. That is what my clinic had, but we are just using our regular line of credit.

Best wishes.

Definitely speak to your fertility clinic. The fact is, while also wanting to help you get pregnant, they want your money too so they will do what they can to advise you on how to get it. Egg-sharing's a great option too. Good luck!

Talk to the clinic. There's banks that offer loans specifically for IVF. The interest rate isn't too bad either. I can't remember which bank it was that offered it. If you own a home you could also do a home equity line except that if you're like me, you may not have any equity (or in my case, negative equity).

Also, EMD serono, the pharmaceutical company has a program that will give you your meds for free if you qualify. I ended up qualifying and got $3000 worth of free medications. It's called their compassionate care program.

Clinics often offer discounts for certain incomes as well. Usually, if the clinic chooses IVF then you meet with a financial counselor at the clinic that will talk you through the different payment options, including loans.

i would first check with your clinic. this is the link to the financing page for my fertility clinic. it might not be of help to you but it gives you an idea of what is out there

if your clinic doesn't offer financing you can try the link below. among the things they loan for is fertility treatment

Hope this helps :)
