Okay be honest, when you're out for a meal do you order jacket spud or chips for your main? I always get chips

i do like baked potatos but i can make them in the house by myself! Cant make nice chips though.. oven chips are pants.

Depends on how hungry I am, and where we are. Some places to eat do rubbish jackets, whilst others are lovely...

I dont eat chips at all. I was in Basra for 4mths and because the kitchens were in tents they didnt use deep fat fryers it was always boiled potatoes and mash I just never ate them again!

tbh i actually prefer jacket's :dohh: i've really gone off chips :dohh:

chips when out but i prefer healthy options at home

I always end up going chip free for months after coming back from holiday because EVERYTHING comes with chips  I remember when we were in Gran Canaria we'd eat chips twice a day everyday.. even toasties came with chips!

Used to always be chips. havent been out for a proper meal since op, but id choose jacket now, only cos of fat content tho, id prefer chips.

I have chips in the house but i much prefer a nice soft jacket potato with crispy skin:D

Chips, as they don't really do jacket potato much here, it is either boiled or baked and I do them at home, so usually go for chips when eating out!

isn't a jacket potato a baked potato?

It depends what the meal is, but id say 90% of the time i pick chips, dont know why it just seems the automatic choice.

Usually I get fries, chips as you call them (chips are completely different here lol)..

but I do like baked potatoes better... :shy:

Chips when out, without a doubt! Hardly ever make them at home.
