Jacob came a day after his due date of the 25th August.
I went to the MW for a check up on the 21/08 and she sentme straight to the labour ward as i had protein in my urine and very high blood pressure. They checked my bloods and my urate in my blood was very high aswell. I had pre-eclampsia. I was kept in and they kept an eye on me and they induced me on the monday morning (my due date 25/08), i had two lots of pessaries on the monday. M contactions started very slightly around tea time. My waters broke at 5.30am tuesday morning, had a bath as contractions started getting stronger.They put me on the drip to get my contractions going stronger. I had to have a mobile epidural to keep my blood pressure down, but i as still haveing gas and air as i was getting all my contraction in my bum. Jacob didnt like the drip and his heart rate dropped. I was only 3cm dilated whn my waters broke and then i was only 4cm at 8.30pm so they took me for a c section. Jacob was born at 21:58 weighing 9lb 9oz.
