I've given my LO jam on toast and crumpets, I've also put a tiny bit in her porridge a couple a times. I think a bit is fine just watch the sugar content.
I recently bought some smooth apricot jam to try Anna with but haven't given it to her yet. A small amount I figure can't hurt (high sugar content) and thought the smooth stuff would be better as I don't have to worry about lumps and pips.
We buy Abby the 'no added sugar' jam and she has it at most once a week on toast or a bagel. She seems to really enjoy it (especially playing with it because it has a strange sticky texture ).
