Harry use to love his jumperoo soo much, we got it when he was 4 months and it was his favourite toy! But just recently he has taken a dislike to it! I can put him in it and 10mins later he's screaming to get out!

How old do they usually last until? Is it a phase or is that it, another short lived toy? I'm thinking it may have something to do with his desperation to crawl, he can get around backwards crawling and bum shuffling and i think he just wants to be out and about causing mischief!! :haha:

I think it completely depends on the baby.... It might be something he is bored of now and then takes a liking to again at a later date?

I brought a brand new Rainforest Jumperoo for Lani - she loved it but 2 days after we got it she was found to have a dislocated hip (from before birth) and had to go into a brace, I have also been told she wont ever be able to use it again, or anything similar like baby walkers, discs etc!! What an utter waste of money! Have lent it to a friend and will hopefully have anothe baby at some point who can use it!!

I think it *could* be the crawling thing? my lo too LOVED the jumperoo but at 6,5 months he got on all 4's and crawled and totally lost intest in the jumperoo, which saddened me :( then at 7 months he could pull himself up and he would use the jumperoo to hold onto, when he could cruise he would cruise around it and play with the gadgets which was awesome, and he walked before 10 months but would walk to the jumperoo and fiddle with the gadgets etc. In fact i only put it away after he turned 1 and had been walking over 2 months :) So I beleive you will get more use of it yet :)
