June Bump Buddy?

I've seen a few threads about this but unsure what a "bump buddy" is... But I'm due June 18th if anyone else is due around then. Might have to fill me in on what it is. lol

I feel the same as you...i have NO idea what that is... haha. I had to look up what all the abbreviations were earlier because i couldn't understand half of what everyone was talking about. I have a doc app tomorrow but I am guesstimating i am due around the beginning of june also.

bump buddy is someone to keep in contact with over the course of your pregnancy to share symptoms etc..I am due June 8th.....

It's really awesome..I have bump buddies that aren't even pregnant yet(moral support really) and some that aren't due anywhere near me...but we still chat about whats going on and give advise and such...it's really great to have someone to talk to about all your "TMI" moments who have been in the same shoes...haha

Oh I feel ya... I have to double check some abbreviations too sometimes. lol Unless I really like the abbreviation though I just type the word out, but I like typing.

Where to do you talk to your bump buddy at? Would we chat over this thread or can you request them as friends? I've never actually gotten super involved in a forum before... still learning. lol

June 9th!!! I've never had a bump buddy before, probably because I've never been pregnant before lol! Hows your pregnancy so far? I've just got my little bump

I was doing REALLY good up until week 7. After that the nausea hit which is the hardest symptom for me to deal with. I've tried all the remedies, so far the one that seems to work best is eating a mini meal at like 5am though I normally don't get up until 11-12 these days :O lol I have no bump yet, I'm a little fluffy around the midsection to begin with though so I might be a late bloomer for that. lol

How is your pregnancy going?

The nausea got to me as well but its not AS bad now. Still feel sick basically 24/7 but i can cope with it now. I'm clinically underweight (was before i got pregnant) so my bump is sticking out a tiny bit. Was just quite bloated for the last 2 weeks but the last couple of days its got lower down, rounder and harder. Love it!!
I'm usually on the teen mum section but a lot of them are about to give birth lol and i've got agess to wait! The waiting is the hardest part!! How'd you find out you were expecting?

Nice! I so can't wait to feel my bump. I check every morning to see if my uterus has started raising up out my pelvic cavity yet. lol I wasn't super on top of checking when I was pregnant, I probably could have tested sooner but I was so depressed from getting that negative test each time that I just waited till a few days past my period... and was going to wait longer but my friend wanted me to come out with them and I'm like "I'm not drinking till I get a period or a positive pregnancy test" so that was it. She bought me the test and I took it and was SHOCKED cause the BFP came up IN SECONDS! I teared up and was hugging everyone cause we were already at the party. Then called my mom and step-mom. My mom was like "no, your kidding..." but she was happy, just shocked it finally happened too. lol So yea... everyone knew with in a week, totally against the jinx superstition but I just couldn't hold in cause EVERYONE knew we'd been trying. lol

So you were TTC then?? Mine was a happy accident! Or a suprise
Well i had the implant, and we used a condom (which split lol) so i thought it would never happen. How wrong was I? Took two test and they both came out negative and thats when i realised i actually wanted my baby. Two weeks later i was still suffering from sickness, tiredness, back ache, cramping that i took one more and it was positive. So happy! Knew it was meant to be. Me and the FOB aren't really together but thats only cos he lives in Turkey and I'm in England. Going to tell him soon, scared though :S

Yes we were TTC... sort of lazily though. Coulda been more on top of the game. lol I'm glad your excited about your surprise! Hopefully your FOB (father of baby?) will be excited too! Do you have a preference on boy or girl? How far along are you?

babyrayback, the same thing happened with my pregnancy test... both times i did them, they were positive before i even got them to the counter. have you gotten a scan or anything yet? my first app is tomorrow.

Hopefully he'll be excited but right this econd i doubt it. Just realised he's too immature and not ready to be a dad. Looks like I'll be doing this alone. I'm kinda hoping secretly for a boy And I am 11 weeks today I think, that or 10+6!!

And yeah, FOB means father of baby but right this second i'm thinking of changing it SOB
