So I took a test this morning, to reassure myself that yesterday wasn't a dream, and the line wasn't nearly as dark as yesterday. Yesterdays test was mid afternoon and showed up in seconds, today i used FMU and it took at least a minute to show up what could that mean? Anyone have this happen before?

You would think that after 2 pregnancies (though both ended in miscarriages) and almost a year of trying I would figure out when the best time to BD is... Is it better to BD once you see the positive on your OPK or are you already past the point by then? I guess that wouldn't make sense, otherwise what's the point of taking an OPK.

Okay - so going with once your OPK turns positive, how long should you BD and how often after you see it? Could someone look at my chart and tell me what they see? I had my first OPK positive (with a digital and a smiley face) on Thursday afternoon. We BD Thurs morn and eve. It was still a smiley face the next morning on Fri. but not in the afternoon, and we BD late Friday. Did I miss the opportunity?! Who knew trying to make babies was so complicated and hard?!

teamstanlick- kinda looks like you will O today or tomorrow. I'd BD again today. I usually BD every other day until I get a few temps high or cervix is hard. Don't put too much faith in OPK's, although when I get a + I try to BD the day of the smiley and the following.

teamstanlick if you BD every other day and once that OPK turns into a smiley.. BD 3 days in a row, skip a day and BD one more day. That way you covered all bases!! It's hard to say by temps when exactly you O'd until a couple more days. It sucks!

My OB/GYN told me yesterday that once you get your positive OPK, try BD for the next 2-5 days. She said that you can't always trust the OPK, but if you BD for the next few days you should be good. Plus, if you BD on Thursday and Friday, you can't go wrong. It only takes one sperm and they can live a few days inside of you.

Don't worry, I had the same questions. I got my positive yesterday morning and we only BD wednesday night and last night.
We are ovulating at the same time.

Beside OPK and temp, have you seen any symptoms of O?

Jmfayard - today or tomorrow?! Dang! I'm heading out of town today to babysit my 7 month old niece WITHOUT DH. I guess we'll have to try to fit a quick session late tomorrow. Though we did late last night (ie. early this morning). (Sorry TMI, I know).

It does suck. Why do we all find it so effing hard to get pregnant when people like my 14 year old student, who drinks, smokes and does drugs get pregnant?! Argh!

No symptoms of O other than EW CM, I don't usually have symptoms of O. The only time I have was back in October right before my first pregnancy... How about you?

We were ntnp for a few months, but decided to really give it a go in December. We are both perfectly healthy and I was told there was no reason for me not to be pregnant. OH started a juice clense the beginning of May which included Maca powder in some of the juices. I started taking geritol pill form this cycle. BAM... Preggos, although it's super early and I'm so nervous. My periods not due till next Wednesday! I'll be testing every day until then!

well it's been the worst 2 days ever. i got a BFP on friday morning - day after AF was due - and then she showed up that evening! i kept trying to convince myself that it could be breakthrough bleeding but it's too heavy for that. i've never been this close :'(

do you guys think that i had a chemical? or did i read the test wrong?

no i almost tested again this morning but i thought it would be silly as my AF is in full flow. do you think i should? (would have to hide it from OH-he'd think i'd gone mental!) x

I would say depends on how heavy and painful it has been? sorry you have had to go through this xxx
