Just back from A&E

So after having cramping and a pain in my side I called NHS24 earlier who sent me into A&E.

In A&E they done a pregnancy test which came back negative . They have concluded that I have/ or am about to miscarry . The doctor was lovely and gave hubby and I some time alone to process things. I have been told to go in tomorrow to have an ultrasound to check whats going on.

Yeah they did hun, but when I asked doc what bloods were testing he said blood count and salt levels etc, but he didnt' mention HCG?

Don't give up hope just yet but at the same time prepare for the worse. Have you had any more cramping? Or blood loss? Thinking of you!! X

I don't know either hun. I thought it sounded weird. I thought they'd check hcg levels. It was a young doctor and I think he felt really uncomfortable breaking the news to us, he seemed to struggle with it. Probably didn't help the fact I told him it took us 2 years to conceive. .

I was told to wait until blood results came back before leaving. All they said that was the bloods were normal so I could go home
