Just Bought Some Softcups

I got them from wal-mart. I decided to open one up and case it out. It's huge! The ring around the cup is firm and huge too. Do these hurt??? Any good stories with using them? How would I use one? Just put it in after sex and leave it in a couple of hours??

No they don't hurt as long u put it in right. U squeeze the ring like an 8 and push it in and then up. Go on YouTube there's a video. And u can keep it in up to 12 hrs. There r several success stories I'm on my 2nd cycle using them.

hi hun i used these before and although they are frightening to look at lol they dont hurt at all, i used to just slip one in after sex and leave it till morning when we dtd at night im sure you can leave them 8-12 hours just check that tho, you dont even feel them good luck i hope they work for you xx

They dont hurt at all. I make DH put one in me after BDing (He doesnt mind it and I dont wanna sit up to put it in) most of the time I cant even feel it going in and I never feel them after they are in...I actually forgot about it one time I accidently left it in for about 16 hours

Today I had a little trouble getting it out but it wasnt a big deal. This is my first cycle using them too.

I heard you can BD with it in has anyone tried it? I think I'd be too scared lol

I love them. They don't hurt, they just look intimidating at first! I heard that you can BD with them in but what's the point? Unless AF is in town.... Besides, I used Nuvaring for BC for a while and DH could feel it when BD'ing, so I think that he would definitely feel a softcup.

I put it in after BD'ing, if it's at night then I just leave it in overnight. You can leave it in for 12 hours, but from what I know, the sperm gets where it's going after 10-15 minutes. Don't quote me on that, it's just what I've heard. The good thing is that softcups aren't associated with TSS like tampons are.

I used nuvaring too. My hubby never complained about feeling it. What were your experiences with nuva? I was dry when I used it and not Ive been off of it for quite some time and still no eggwhite cm. What about you?

I used them the cycle I got pregnant (chemical) and two cycles before. The two cycles before, I felt like I was losing a lot of sperm afterwards. The last cycle, I made sure to really push it under my pubic bone and realized I hadn't been pushing it in enough so some was leaking out. I didn't use them this cycle as I ran out but I will use them again next cycle if I don't get a BFP. Good luck!

That's awesome. Sorry about the chemical, but it is still promising that you did get pregnant using them. Does hubby know you use them? I'm afraid to tell my hubby lol. He will be okay with it I just dont want to explain it or hear any weird comments.

He knows everything I do with TTC and he actually asked me if I wanted him to make the 45 min (each way) drive to Walmart to get more this cycle. He's such a sweetheart Thankfully, he is as excited as me to have a baby so he is never unwilling to try anything

I actually used it a few years ago, before that I was using BCP's and after using Nuvaring I used a different brand of BCP's. I didn't have any side effects with the Nuvaring, just that DH didn't like it. I have been on birth control for 8 years, so I think my issues with ovulating the last few months have just been from using hormonal birth control for so long. I haven't had any EWCM yet since stopping BCP in February. This is the first cycle I've had watery CM though so I think it's a good sign. Yesterday I had some cloudy stretchy CM but it only stretched about 3/4". Haven't checked today yet. My thermometer I've been using isn't working right so I don't know if I can pinpoint ovulation if it happens (keep forgetting to use my OPK's). Anyway, sorry to hijack your thread!

That's wonderful! My hubby really wants another child, but seems alarmed by different measures to conceive.
