Just Found out and worried when to tell my boss.

Hi Everyone, i found out yesterday i am 5 weeks pregnant and am over the moon! The problem is that i am a Teacher in a Special Behavioural School and am often in a position where we have to physical restrain pupils. This usually happens at least once a week. I know most people don't tell their employers untill much later on but im thinking i need to tell my employers sooner. Is five weeks too soon to tell my boss?

I'm a nursery nurse in a 2-3 yr room, and often have to dodge the idd kick and slap. Also qiute a demanding job, so id say Yeh tell now. Yr babes and yr health are upmost importance.

my sister does the same kind of job as u and she told the main people who were involved in the day to day running (she asked them to keep it as quiet as possible until she knew everything was ok) and then told the rest after her scan- it just means that other people know to come forward when asked to do a job which would be dangerous for you.
