So we were told at the 20 weeks scan that it was 'probably' a girl. OH didn't want to discuss names until we knew so we would only have one set to discuss. That ended up being a short discussion. 32 week scan didn't clarify anything as we apparently have the wiggliest baby ever.
However, I'm still vaguely worried about what ifs and hearing "it's a boy!" when I'm loopy from birth and drawing a complete blank on names, so...boy names!
OH had mentioned earlier he wanted to have the middle name be his name (Glenn). It's also his mom and grandfather's name (don't ask me why a family that had 3 boys and 1 girl named the girl after the father). So ok, but he had also wanted to use my grandfather's name, John. I'm not keen on a John Glenn
Or John at all really. I have a grandfather and uncle and a cousin with that name.
So I started hunting for alternatives to John.
How does Ivan Glenn sound?
Any other ideas? I liked Finn before OH came up with any name input but I don't think Finn Glenn goes. Lotta 'n's' in there.
I also kind of like Jevan but...it's one of my good friend's husband's name so I think that's out.
