Just need a little rant

My hubby and I are waiting to sign for our new house tonight. I'm realizing it isn't going to just be ours since my in-laws are moving with us. I want to be able to put my furniture where I want, pictures on the walls, and decorate the way I want, but I have to remember they're moving into our home too. I'm feeling very overwhelmed. They have a 2 year old son, and are very opinionated people.I don't get much more time with my hubby before they get here, and he deploys in less than 2 months. OMG! I feel very down right now.

If you & your Dh are on the contract, why can't you decorate your home how you want? Just because they are moving in with you doesn't mean they get a say in how you arrange your home. I'm just sayin...

That's exactly what I was thinking! If the house is in you and your husband's name then it's up to the two of you how things are arranged. If your in-laws don't like it then tell them to go get a place of their own so they can do what they like with it!

I guess we worked things out. My in-laws are just fine with us decorating the house lol. I guess it was my hubby trying to help make them comfortable with a move
