I'm at the doctors tomorrow for his 2nd jabs anyway but just to try and ease my mind i was wondering if anyone has any advice.
Just under 3 weeks ago my son got a tummy bug and was badly for one night and from then on his feeds have been less. He started on 3oz and slowly worked his way up, at one point last week he was even taking 6.5oz which was lovely but then he suddenly dropped to 4oz. Along with this he started waking twice a night for feeding. I reduced his bottles from 7oz to 6oz (the amount i was making up) and he started to drain the 6oz, this lasted 2 days. Yesterday and today he has taken 4-5oz at a time but is only having 4 bottles thru the day and getting up at 4 hourly intervals at night. Yesterday he didnt poo and today he has been twice, once this morning which was normal and again about an hour ago which came out of the top of his nappy. He feels warm to he touch but not excessively hot but seems a little more sleepy tonight than normal but didnt sleep a lot yesterday or today up until 2pm. I think he is also teething, could this explain the appetite and poo changes and also the tiredness and being slightly warmer than normal? Is eveything above sounding normal? I guess im just feeling a little paranoid since his bug....
