Hey everyone,

I am on here because I really just needed someone to talk to. I was looking for ways to bring on ovulation. (no meds) Me and my guy are ttc and it's starting to get a little frustrating.

I've always had irregular period and right now its getting in the way. Right now my period is about 4 months late. Before it wasn't an issue until me and my guy talked about starting a family together and now I'm not coming on my period or ovulating. I've taken pregnancy tests and they are all negative.

A few years ago I had this problem and my period didn't start for a hole 2 years. I went to the doctors got poked and prodded , for my doctor to say, "my period just stopped and it will restart soon."

I've never really paid much attention to when my periods started even when I was having one because pregnancy was the last thing on my mind.

I've been trying to find some thing that will help start my period and ovulation so that we can conceive.

Whenever he and I go at it he talks about having a baby. Even worst my sisters cousins friends are all pregnant. So happy for them, but we are both hoping to have our own little bundle of joy

Any help or suggestions would be very helpful....:happydance:

Sorry for the long rant

Hiya,

I have the same problem...my periods have always been crazily irregular. The last time I was off the pill, I only had 7 periods that year. I also went to the gyn, who ran tests and told me to just go back on the pill until i decided to get pregnant.

Can you go to a new doctor? I'm sure they can at least give you something to bring your period on if it's been missing for too long.

The next doctor i went to told me i had to go to a fertility specialist, and that it would take thousands of dollars. We don't have that kind of money to pay for a fertility doctor.

She looked at me as though I was asking something out of the ordinary.

I just ordered something online called conceive easy by fertibella. it's a free trial. i will be canceilling after receiving it and all the ingredients are supposed to be all natural so i'm going to try it and see what happens. The pills are just herbs they said. I don't know. I'm starting to get frustrated, but I decided I would at least try the least expensive thing first before going into very expensive things

I haven't had my period since the middle of January 2013. It's frustrating, yes. The fact that you don't want meds to help you get the ball rolling, is going to be another one against you. You are entitled to that want though! I personally made an appointment in November with a OB/GYN to get put on fertility/regulate my cycles. I have PCOS though, so if you don't have that.. I don't know. Maybe it is worth talking to your doctor about doing it the NATURAL way? I'm always here to listen to rants! :)

You can buy natural progesterone cream, if u rub it on for 10 days and stop your peroid should start shortly after.

I have always had very irregular cycles, I used to use progesterone cream to kick start AF when I would go for months without a peroid. I bought mine at a local health food store. You can buy it online too.

Does it help with ovulation? I heard that just because you have a period you're not actually ovulating?

I dont think it does. If your looking for something you can buy over the counter for ovulation u could try Soy Iso. Its taken at the begining of your cycle for 5 days. Its suppose to work similar to the fertility drug clomid.

Here is the link to a soy iso thread...

With my periods being irregular i don't even know what CD I'm on. I haven't had a period in a few months now. (I've been to the doctors and they said nothing is wrong). So how would I know when to start taking the soy?

Progesterone cream will make ur peroid start if u use it for 10 days then stop.

Here is a link the lists natural herbs that can bring back your peroid. I have never tried any of them because the cream always worked for me.
