Okay so LO is getting too big for his Charlie Banana XS diapers. They are supposed to go 5-10lbs, and he is probably 8-ish, but he is out of them absorbancy-wise, and they don't have enough room to stuff them more. I currently add a cut up receiving blanket in them, but they are then stuffed to the gills...He also outgrew his Imagine AIO's already (5-13lbs!). They never fit him well though.
He has been wearing Charlie Banana OS diapers on XS setting from 7lbs (even though they are from 10+) and Rumparooz OS. They are bulky but no leaks. I LOVE the Rumparooz with the inner gussets. They hold SO MUCH PEE. It's my go-to overnight diaper, since LO sometimes STTN.
So I decided to bite the bullet and get my OS stash, since he is doing well in OS diapers. I got enough for a full stash, but almost none of the same diaper! LOL.
I got:
12 prefolds in small. Imagine Smartfits. I hope I like them.
2 Flip covers
2 Rumparooz covers (since I LOVE the pocket...)
2 Best Bottoms Shells
3 Microfiber BB inserts (sized small)
3 Hemp/Cotton BB inserts (sized small)
1 Grovia AIO
1 Simplex AIO
1 Bumgenious Elemental AIO
1 Softbums Omni (AI2/Pocket)
1 Softbums Pod (insert)
1 Kickernappies Pocket (only pocket I bought, side snap!)
And I already have:
6 Charlie Banana OS
1 Rumparooz OS pocket
For a total of:
8 pockets
7 AI2
3 AIO
12 Prefolds
4 Covers
So 30 diapers in total. The only things I will need to buy in the future are prefolds and larger BB inserts. I could also go all prefolds in the future and just use the BB covers with prefolds, or forgo the prefolds and get more BB inserts, since I will need less diapers the larger LO gets.
I ordered from Nicki's Diapers, so I can try them for 15 days and then send them back if I don't like them. I wanted to worry about making sure I liked them before I went back to work. If I like/don't like some styles but love others, I can send back the ones I dislike and get more of the ones I like.
I just had to share I was pretty excited...

woohoo!! Lucky girl! I've got one coming in today as well, I ordered 12 bumgenius 4.0. Couldn't pass up their deal of buy 5 get one free!!
