I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant and thinking about going away when peanut's here.

I'm due in December and wanting to go away when it's our 'Summer 2012!'. Peanut will be between 7-9 months if I went June-August time.

I was thinking going abroad and using a All-Inclusive Package holiday. Booking after Christmas so we've got time to pay it off?

If we get a car again we could go camping etc or places in the UK.

Is that to early for taking peanut away and should I wait till Summer 2013 when peanut 18+ months?

no where since LO arrived but whilst pregnant I went to portugal (13 weeks pg) and france (25 weeks pg)
I think taking your baby away at that age is fine!! I would if i could afford it xx

We went camping twice this summer with our baby who was five then six months at the time. He loved it. Took him to the beach to go swimming & he thought that our campfire was hilarious!

OH's boss has a apartment in Tenerife and thinking we'd go there as a last resort if we couldn't afford.
I've been looking at Tenerife on expedia.co.uk and there are some good deals for 11 nights £1400 all-Inclusive 4* and it's in the centre but child friendly.
That would be about £110 a month to pay it off for next August.
We'll see when peanuts here and hopefully we can use the apartment instead of paying for everything. Just need to pay for flights and £250 a week for the apartment. So half the price really :D

Iv just got back from Majorca with 11 month old which was nice we are bookin to go to tenerife in may next year so we will have a 19 month old an 3 month old! Haha x

We're going to France next year since it's pretty close :)

We went to Devon this year but are hoping to go abroad next year as the girls will be about 2 xx

Hi, we went to a Thomson superfamily resort and it was amazing. Everything was geared around babies and I really couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We stayed at the hotel presidente in Ibiza for a week at the beginning of September when Isobel was 8 months and she loved every minute. It was massively different from our normal holidays but enjoyable in a very different way.

The hotel uses all UK/mother care supplied equipment, there are sterilisers bOttle warmers available to hire for your room, the room has a kettle already. You can even hire a pram if u don't want to take yours. Aswell as the normal kids club there is a crèche which runs in two hour sessions everyday by UK nvq trained thomson staff, which is full of toys and is air conditioned so a lovely place to escape the heat. There Is a air conditioned soft play room open all day. a mother and baby room which has a steriliser/fridge nappies, nappy bags, wipes, nursing chair. Plentiful umbrellas, once large pool, one baby and a splash park, playground. UK highchairs and bibs in the restaurant and a kids buffet. The staff were amazing with Isobel.

The resort is based around two beaches with bars around each one, mini golf, a small waterpark it's a laid back kind of place.

Hope this might give u a few ideas of things u might like.

Lucy & Isobel x

Center Parcs Longleat.... totally fabulous for children & babies... safe, quiet and very friendly. Had a wonderful time and are going to CP Sherwood next May and CP Elveden next December for the winter wonderland ... cant recommend it enough x

Hiya. We ended up going to somerset this year and callum was 13 months. We went to Wales the year before but Callum wasn't born then so it was his first holiday. It was nice as we went to a caravan park so it was self catering so we picked the times we ate, had some nice entertainment and the beach was right next to the park so Callum had a great time. I think 7 - 9 months is fine for your LO to have a holiday xx

We just went up to Lapland and stayed with family. Maria was 6 months and loved it and was very good with the travelling (overnight train and long car journey).

We are going to Greece - Corfu in November....not exactly a holiday as its out of season and we are visiting family but we can't wait :) x

We went to Krakow twice this year with Niah as we have an apartment there, she was 4 and 6 months, also went to Cornwall a couple of times and on Thursday we are going Lanzarote. She has loved all her holidays so far and has been amazing, although it has taken a couple of days for her to settle when she got back and whilst waiting to board one of the flights she wasn't a happy bunny. I am really hoping she has a good one on Thursday also.

If I had the opportunity I would definitely go as so far Niah has adapted really well and loved her holidays x

We went to Vancouver for 2 weeks and Shambla festival for a weekend. Ivy was about 13 months and she had an amazing time on both trips! We were properly roughing it at the festival, slept in a tent, rain, no baths....but I'm pretty sure it was the funnest few days of her little life. She didn't cry once! I definitely recommend taking them away when they are younger, if anything I wish that I took her away when she was a newborn because then at least the 10 hour flight to Vancouver would have been so easy! As a 13 month old walker she just wanted to run up and down the aisles!
