I feel sorry for them, its a decision they clearly regret that they'll have to carry around for the rest of their lives. I strongly believe that had her parents been responsible, either Portuguese or UK police would have acted and prosecuted them.
I really hope that she was taken for a childless couple, or similar, and is being cared for by them. I think if she was dead they would have found a body. Money is really tight this month but if I can afford it, I'll buy it.
Weather the parents were wrong or not, theres still a little girl missing and buying the book will help find her.

Why do you say that? Because Ive not seen or read anything where they say they regret leaving them- in fact quite the oposite, they still see that they did no wrong. They were resonsible- because as parents, we have a responsibility, a duty, to protect our children, not neglect them. If she was indeed abducted, which I dont blieve she was, then that wouldnt have happened had the McCanns not let 3 young children alone in an unlocked room. They ARE responsible imo.
I'm also very dubious as to where the money rom the book sales go, it certainly all doesn't towards helping ind Maddie, ut it that way.

It is weird though that if she is dead theres been no body found.... I dont think burying her on a beach would have been enough to last 4 years, burying with their bare hands wouldnt have got far and sand moves in the wind... Where do you think they buried her? (apart from in the sea)

I just think the sea, because its very unlikely she would be found in there. I know there was a think about the church and them having a key and the riest- resigning (think he resigned, or lost his job) i guess in the church grounds would be a possibility? xx

Thats true i suppose i like to think that if they accidently killed her, that they would leave her intact and give her some sort of 'funeral' - know that sounds a bit weird, not really sure how to word it really. Just hope they at least had some respect x

true, but if they are cold enough to act like they havent done anything wrong if they have then i wouldnt put anything past them.

i hope they dont have anything to do with it, but i will always think they are to blame because they left those babies alone

Yeh georgie there was, There was some kind of roadworks nearby that was filled in a few days later, God knows why the authorities didnt stop it being filled in and check it first

Also, cant remember if it was the other night when i was reading, or if it was a link on here, Theres apparently tunnels under the town? And apparently an old child abuser had used these tunnels in this way and thats how they were discovered... but one of the old tunnels goes under the church? And none of the tunnels have ever been checked..... sorry cant remember where i read it... will look later..

the fact it wasnt checked was sick, and just pure weird - there is just so much to this case that doesnt add up!

no the tunnels are seperate from the ditch/roadworks that were being done then filled in, the tunnels arent filled in! Damn need to find where i read that..

i dont no if they caused her death or not and i didnt say they have, im pointing out there are ways of getting rid of a body so its not found. like as u put it cutting her up or even burning a body.

theres alot of missing people out there whos bodies are never found.

OH has always said that Madeleine would be found in the roadworks but it is a little mentioned issue in this saga. I have no idea why they have not dug these up and checked.

I don't think the McCanns are necessarily guilty because they show little emotion. I don't see that as a sign of guilt. You never know exactly how people feel despite what it looks on the surface. I don't believe that people need to publically show their emotions. Much of the dislike of the McCanns seems to stem from their lack of emotion but we don't ever see what happens in private and it is always worth remembering that.
