My Head is pounding !!!

I've just got over a real crappy cold that lasted 2 weeks ....now i'm suffering from banging headaches every day !!

Is this normal???

Doesnt sound normal hun, it could just be the remainder of your cold but speak to GP for extra reassurance!
Either that or perhaps your sleep walking at night and guzzling down cans of buds

ha ha ha.....wondered where thoise bottles of pinot had gone !! xx....ouch !!

;) So does it last all day this feeling or ware out as the morning goes on?

My thick head continues but i've taken some paracetamol so its starting to ease a bit. I'm off to see my MW in ten mins so will hopefully get answers from her. I think its just the end of my cold that i cant seem to shake.

Would be nice just to feel ok and start enjoying it !!!x

i'm exactly the same hun! i find that bizarrely it's often when i'm had a cold drink before bed. weird! xx

Just got back from MW. She reckons its because my cold is still on my sinuses. She said to go back for antibiotics if hasnt cleared xx

That is exactly how I have been feeling too. I have had a cold and yesterday I was in bed mist of the time cos my head was banging! Feels a bit better today but can still feel it.

I was feeling like that a while ago too, and I think it was because I was getting a little dehydrated overnight. Is your urine really dark in the morning?

I had this about a week ago, was horrible!
It's mostly cleared up now but it was all in my sinuses(tmi!) and wouldn't even go anywhere when i went to blow my nose iykwim!
i also found i felt like you did when i got too dehydrated, and neede to drink LOTS more water just to keep going, perhaps you should try this? hangovers after all are mainly severe dehydration, so might be this?:flower:

Yes I got to this post too late, but I had this in January and I have it right now, the cold goes on forever and the mucus in your sinus's gets infected.
Its a bummer not being able to take any pregnancy friendly pharmacy meds.
I would not resort to anti biotics unless it was that severe.

Last night I literally covered my face in vicks vapor rub, :haha: it stung like mad but it seemed to loosen all the blockage by the morning, the headache and face pain eased up but still got this streaming running nose.

Its common for pregnant women to get sinusitus, but I used to suffer with it before anyway so I know the symptoms. Its the worst bit about a cold apart from getting a chesty cough, which i also have
