Keflex for a UTI?

Has anyone else ever been prescribed Keflex or another Pregnancy Category B antibiotic for a UTI? I'm really wary of taking any drugs as I am so early on, but read some pretty scary things online that said that an untreated UTI can cause a woman to miscarry.

Anyone? Thanks in advance for all of your help.

hey i had a UTI at about 6weeks pregnant and was prescribed keflex. i think i had a 3day course of them and ive not had any problems. with my 1st pregnancy i suffered alot of UTI's throughout and was always on keflex so try not to worry as they will get rid of it for you. like you said if u leave it untreated it will get progressively worse and can cause a misscaraige so its better to take them. hope this eases your worries and you get better soon

My concern is that they have me on a 10 day course. 500 mg pill four times a day for 10 days! I didn't go to my OB but to a small clinic and am concerned that this may be too much...
