i dont know about you lot but i feel sick, i always thought he looks like a great grandparent kinda man, the kind who would sneak his grandkids extra sweets and money when the parent back was turned... never would i have thought of him as a rapist whats the world coming to!

Apparently among the whole Jimmy Savile scandal, there was meant to be an 'undisclosed male soap star' who was part of it all, makes you wonder....was it him they referred to?

If he is guilty, it is unbelievable as he has been part of the soap for such a long time. Goes to show, you just never know do you!

Agree with this. I was shocked when I saw the story but I'll reserve judgement until he's convicted, if he is.

I agree with this. I read the allegations were made in 2011 and the evidence was reviewed and decided they didn't have a case and it was dropped now suddenly they decide to review it again and charge him and there's no mention of new evidence. Just seems suspicious to me I'll reserve judgement until he's convicted if he actually is.

Slightly O/T but does anyone know what happened with Joshua Pascoes sex offence charges? (Actor who plays Ben Mitchell from Eastenders) I saw in all the papers when he was charged but haven't seen anything since about whether he was innocent/guilty or anything.

If I was his lawyer I'd be asking some serious questions of the CPS and thinking about instigating abuse of process proceedings - however is want their disclosure first... Which is what his solicitors will be asking for ASAP.

No-one is guilty until the evidence has had a chance to be tested in court.

Agreed. How can they have a fair trial? And even if cleared mud sticks, doesnt it? You will hear all the cliches of no smoke without fire etc

I always feel sorry when it comes out like this.

Its hard to get over IMO.

Don't get me wrong if he is guilty, then he should/will/is suffer the consequences.
