kicks high up?

Usually i feel baby move really low down, at my scan she was laying across my lower tummy, she's obviously moved now as the last 3-4 days she has been going wild with really big kicks right up my right side taht make me jump and even a few that make me go 'ooh ow!'

But, they're going as high up as litrally just below my ribs, a couple of inches above my belly button.. isn't this a bit high for her at 23 weeks!?

Didn't want to read and run but don't have any experience with this as the highest I have felt have been around the side in line with my belly button, but I have a high anterior placenta so don't know whether that makes a difference.

maybe she is doing gymnastics in there??

I also have a high anterior placenta... which has confused me even more! lol she's deffo doing some kind of gymnastics in there!!

I also have a high anterior placenta and have just started getting kicks in the ribs the last week! Especially if I am slouching.
Midwife said because I am short in the waist my uterus has already grown that big. Heaven knows where the rest of him will grow over the next 15 weeks!
