I have this pain on the right side in the middle of my back. It really hurts when I fill up my lungs. I have my weekly appointment, so I'll find out what it is soon. I'm just worried, could that be bad if I'm close to labor?

I had kidney infection at 23weeks if you do have it and your close to your due date you have a good chance of being induced. I had the pains you described mine was left untreated and i was in the most pain i have ever experienced so i really hope you dont have it x

Well, sh*t. Why would they induce me for that? I'm aiming for a natural birth. I already have GBS, so I'll be given a course of antibiotics when I do go into labor.

This is my second kidney infection this pregnancy (and ever). It hurts worse this time.

Dno y they do but the doc who was giving me antibiotics said ur unlucky your not 37weeks. We could have got baby out and given you decent painkillers till your course finished. Not exactly what i wanted to hear as i was only 23weeks lol x

I have one for a month here, trying all to get rid of it. Blood in urine and pain is a good indication but I had the back pain to felt like i was punched in the back. its not nice.

I had a serve case and if left not treated asap it can actually cause labour. Im not sure if thats why he mentioned about being induced if further on x

It turned out to be a bladder infection, the doctor said. Still don't know why I get such bad kidney pain from a bladder infection, but that's what they said last time. So, no induction talk (well, there was a bit, but for other reasons). I'm just on antibiotics and not going to be induced.
