Lactating blood?

Hi moms,

I am 11 weeks pregnant today, but Saturday night when I got out of the shower I noticed that I was lactating blood. It wasn't flowing out, just kind of dripping, but there was no cut or anything. It was definitely coming from the milk ducts. I've got a call in to my doctor and am waiting to hear back, but I thought I'd get your opinions. Has this happened to anyone here?

Didn't want to read and run, I have never had this and I'm fairly certain it's not to be expected in pregnancy. You did the right thing in calling your doctor as it most certainly needs looking into. Let us know how you get on xx
