after you ovulated ( and clearly concieved) did your CM stay wet? dry up?

A few of us have wet, milky cm - all in the 4-6 dpo range... is this a good sign?

thanks everso much in advance

Hi, yep i did!
Hope it's a good sign for you! :)

I stayed wet. Not hugely so, but usually I'm dry after ovulation, so it was noticeable and unusual. It was (and still is) of a lotion consistency and light yellow in color.

Good luck to all you girls in the TWW!

I had a wet feeling at around 5dpo and my cm wasn't dry after ovulation. Started getting symptoms around 8dpo.

Thanks ladies - you are giving us hope. fingers crossed

xx

Reeve,

I must start by saying that this is my FIRST TIME I am able to post in here instead of continually reading and looking for "signs" after 10 months TTC!

So...with that said...there is hope and the "signs" actually helped me realize before I got my first BFP, which was yesterday! :happydance:

Now...on to you! I know that some say they had continuous CM after, but I didn't at all and still don't have. It may have to do with the fact that I OV on cd10 and in past months, it was cd 14 or 15 (using an OPK).

After it was positive on cd10 (of course my hubby was out of town for work that day), we got to it on cd11 and cd12, I made sure to lay there for about 20 minutes after each time. Cd 10-12, I had perfect CM.

Then, on cd13, the CM started to slack of and get tacky in consistency. I had no symptons, nothing and just went about my days. :coffee:

THEN, on cd16 (5 dpo), I started getting super-bloated, like BEYOND bloated! Just thoat I was having a moment. Then on cd 17 (6 dpo) I started having very scanty dark brown spotting that afternoon and it continued off and on until the evening of cd18 (7 dpo) with the continued bloating.

It all stopped by cd19 (8dpo) and all I kept thinking was "implantation spotting???" So...I held off before taking an hpt. Of course, that lasted only 24 hours and at cd20 (9dpo), I peed on a stick and had the faintest line. My friend who is the nurse practitioner at my OB/GYN even said it was positive. I didn't get my hopes up though, but definitely skipped the glass of wine that night!

The next day (yesterday), cd21 (10 dpo), I took another test and got my BIG FAT POSITIVE!!!!!!!!!!! It was GREAT! I took another this morning and it was even darker, so I am ready to roll!

Everyone is different, so just keep up with what your body tells you and continue to just have fun with it. I stressed a lot several months back and was getting NOWHERE! I chilled out and just marked what was happening to my body on a calendar and left it up the the good Lord!

I have my first doctor visit next Monday, which will be my official start of Week 5 (since my period began on Monday, August 28th last cycle).

GOOD LUCK!:hugs:

I have had creamy cm since a couple days past ovulation.

Thanks sooo much. Iv alerted the other ladies from the tww board of this thread, im sure they will happy to see all the responses.

I have to admit that my post o cm normally gets rubbery, but this time it's the milky white.... i really hope its not my body and head playing tricks on me.

xx

I had wet cm after O, enough to wear a panty liner. On cd10-cd13 I had brown spotting which I assume was ib. Not enough for a panty liner, just when I wiped.

Mine wasn't right after ovulation but at 10dpo I had TONS of lotiony, white cm with a bit of dark brown in it (IB I'm assuming now!), and from then on I had a good amount of lotiony cm every day and still do. Hope its a good sign for all you TWWers! :flower:
