Ladies I Got a BFP!! But......

Hello Ladies,

I took an ovulation test this morning, got BFP and thought I'd take a pregnancy test at aswell seeing as me and OH have been 'busy' alot this month. Just for the fun of it.

Well....the pregnancy test came up BFP??

I'm a little confused, is this just a BFP from where I am ovulating?

Hmmm ok, I tested this evening and got a BFN?!

Now am very confused :S

Could be that my HcG levels arn't up yet?

Hey hon, did you test again this even on the OPK or the preg test? where are you in your cycle?

I tested on PG test this morning with BFP, then again at 3pm which came back with a BFN. The OV test still comes back as pos. Super Confused lol!

I am on day 12 of cycle but been getting OV tests coming back pos for two days now. OH and I been busy Fri, Sat, Tues....

I wasn't expecting a BFP on pg test this morning as didn't think i'd Ovulated yet. lol

Wow this is a confusing one! Your only on cd12? What sort of hpt was it and did the line come up straight away? You would have to think its an evap or a faulty test! Unless you are pregnant from the last cycle, but then you would thing there would be loads of hcg in your system to make it + in the afternoon as well!

this is tricky, if you are deffo not pg frm last month...then i would say it mayb a false result (unless u pg with twins) lol as sometimes even after 2wks the hormoan is stil quite weak+hard to b detected...i would wait 2days an try again in the morn, so ur ov will b outta the way. Mayb its a sign that u will get pg this month...!! Wouldnt that b nice? Good luck to you x hope it is ur month x x

Hi ladies,

Yes its way to confusing, am going to test in a couple of days.

I've come to two conclusions.

1: Its an evaporation line
2: I ovulated early and the ovulation test picked up on hcg hormones (I've heard about this but not too sure)

Am on a 10Miu/ml so could be that the test is faulty. They are the cheapy ones.

Tested again today ladies and got a faint line on PG and full line on OPK
So am going to play it by ear and see if AF shows on Christmas Day

Hun I got my bfp on weds, I have also had postive opk last nite and this morning. My guessing is you are pg as you have had 2 +hpt and +opk. It would imagine your hcg level is still quite low so is therefore only registering with your fmu. Try again tomorrow morning and I will bet your test line is much darker.

Just re-read your posts, didnt realise you were only on cd12. Was your af any different last cycle? It is possible to have an af and still be pg, which sounds like it might be the case for you. Perhaps pop to your docs and ask for a blood test. At the end of the day a hpt will only show positive if you have hcg in your system. Ok so u may get the odd one that is faulty, but 2 would be very unlucky. Have you tried maybe a fr? Good luck xx

AF was only 2 & half days full on and then an odd spot here and there after while I normally have a 5 day visit from AF. She did come early as I was meant to have her arrive on the 4th Dec but she came 28th Nov which isnt normal for me as im like clock work.

:s :s :s Soooo confused lol. Accordin to OPK have been Ovulating for three days now. None of it makes sense as am on day 13 of cycle, which is understandable for the OPK to show positive.

I may take the dreaded 2ww and see if AF shows on Christmas Day?

hey hun i dont kno what to say about that! but i am on the 2ww and testing boxing day!! didnt want to test xmas day as didnt want to get upset if was neg!
