Ladies that know about PreE

So I had Preeclampsia in my last pregnancy. It came on very suddenly, and Molly was delivered by emergency c section at 29 weeks.

Yesterday I went to my first consultant appointment, and the doppler scan showed notching in one of the uterine arteries. Is that a bad sign this early on? He is already mentioning steroids etc and got me worried.

Hi,
I had PE and Hellp in my first pregnancy also. I delivered my daughter at 26 weeks, unfortunately she did not make it. My son was born last December at 39 weeks, I had mild PE and was on bp tablets from 25 weeks. I had some notching at about 24 weeks but this did go. I was on aspirin and I think this made a huge difference. Hope this puts your mind at rest a little. x
