I have hyperemesis and I don't think I have a small bump for how far along I am. Having hyperemesis has no correlation to the size of your bump, it's different for everyone. xx

i just wondered if it resulted in having a smaller baby , i just cant eat anything at the moment otherwise im sick, i have been having sips of water but think i'll be back at hospital by end of week , already been in 3 times x

Ah well I had it in my last pregnancy 2 and was hospitalised for it a few times then as well as this pregnancy, anyway my son was 3 days overdue and weighed a healthy 8lb 5oz so I didnt have a smaller baby xxx

Are you taking prenatal vitamins? I was hospitalized earlier as well, my son is now a chunky little baby and measuring 5 days ahead. I lost a good 6 pounds by 15 weeks, and now I am back at my starting weight almost 8 weeks later.
Try not to worry too much, I drank nutrition shakes to supplement food along with my prenatal vitamin. As my doctor said, the baby will get nutrition any way possible, the one who really suffers is you, so try to get something in you, whether it's barely anything to a nutrition shake. xx

I am nearly 19 weeks and lost some weight early on to hyperemesis until the doctor gave me cyclizine and stemetil. My bump is huge for 19 weeks - I'm scared I have a monster baby! Remember that the baby takes what it needs first so even if you are getting dehydrated, the baby is probably ok.

I'm still waiting for any sign of a bump... Iv only been able to eat normally for a week tho, so we will see how we go. Although bubs is measuring 4 days ahead

I have hyperemesis and i think that my bump is small but then again thats because i am small!

I've still manged to put on a stone in weight!

I'm only 13 weeks so I can't tell you yet, but my mother had two HG pgs, one resulting in a 10lb baby and the other (me) was 7 weeks premy but still a hefty 5lbs.. So I'd say no, it doesn't affect the size of baba!

thanks , i keep praying every nite it goes but i get up and feel like crap , its good to know that babys arnt on the small side ,even though id expect them to be if we cant eat xx

They take everything good that we have lol... Hence why we feel so crap. You will feel better once u can start to drink normal amounts if water xo

Hi Girls i had Hyperemesis in my last pregnancy was in hospitalized for 4 weeks and gave birth to a healthy boy weighing 7lb 12. I lost a stone in that pregnancy. Im just waiting for it to start again this time i know its coming.

Can i ask at what stage you all started with it? I cant remember from my last pregnancy
