Ladies who husband's had a SA please read

My fiance has an appointment next Thursday at 9 am for a semen analysis at a fertility clinic. I am nervous because he is weird about that stuff and I am afraid that he will chicken out or that he will spend hours and get nothing accomplished. We will be doing the collection in the clinic because we live to far away to get it there in time. When I called to make the appointment today they said that I can accompany him but it has to be done through maturation only with no saliva, lubes etc. I just cant see him
being able to do it.

Do any of you ladies have any advice or things I can do to help him.

Foreplay. My husband tried twice and couldn't do it on his own. It took foreplay and being a little more coquettish than normal to get him in the right frame of mind.

I don't want to be graphic, but it can be hard on both of you. Make it fun and relaxed for him and he will be able to accomplish the goal at hand. No pun intended.

Well me and my hubby did a video on his phone days prior the test go help him get off. lol I could not go with him since I worked but he said it took him longer o accomplish it but he got it done. Maybe you could try that? Good luck!

Last time we dtd was technically Saturday night but I think it was 1230 or 1 am and we didnt at all yesterday. I was actually really pissed off and slept most of the night on the couch. Do you think that is sufficient enough to call it sunday?

I think that will be fine. We were told he was not to go longer than six days or less than three days before the test.

Well they told us my husband couldn't have sex for 3 days prior to the test. so if you have your appointment on Thursday maybe they wanted to make sure that he has 3 days with out no sex to ensure that is test will be most accurate. So I would say as long as its 3 full days prior to your appointment then you should be good.

My husband is the same... in fact probably worse - because there was no way he was doing it at the clinic!!! (we checked out the "donation" room and we don't do porn so he was like )

so what we have done for the 2 we had to have was stay at a hotel close to the clinic - and I helped him with some preseed both times- they never said anything and were able to analyze his "donation"

hotel may be expensive but it is the ONLY thing that would work for us...

Its $100 at the fertility clinic. But I can submit for reimbursement with the insurance. That's not saying they will pay for it but $100 is a small price to pay to me.

It took us a few days to get the results, less than a week. Our issue was our GP didn't know what he was looking at so my hunny bunny had to wait until he went to the urologist to get the results explained to him and get a copy for me to look at.
