Not long now until I finish work. HOWEVER with this come days at home whilst I wait for baby looking after my 2yr old active little monkey boy.

I am such a fattie, unable to do v much at all. How on earth do you ladies cope?

I nap when my DD has her afternoon sleep and that helps keep me going! I have to admit though we still do toddler gym and playgroup however I don't have the energy to go to the park anymore and run about after her, so the garden has been our alternative along with soft play centres. Good luck!

I'm working til 4 days before due date to avoid that exact situation!! Just picking toys up off the floor is exhausting!!

I also nap when my son naps. I used to do stuff while he napped but now I need the sleep.

I would have liked to have worked until 38weeks (as I did with no1), but sitting down all day really aches my back. and my ribs.

hmmm 4weeks theorectically until baby arrives at home does seem like a long time.

I've found this pregnancy a lot easier because I've been running around after Sofia rather than sat in an office chair all day. Obviously I am tired by the end of the day but it's a different kind of tired.

I try and meet up for playdates (lots of invites to my house!) so that the children are occupied without too much need for Mummy to run ragged. I try and sleep when she does. The house looks a bit of a bombsite but never mind.

I have twins know exactly how you feel, i get em involved as much as i can an they love helping, i ask if anyone wants to help hoover and they love it even fight over the hoover lol, so i just give jobs out, have a chart where i give them smily faces and they get a surprise if they good, rly works ha ha.
an hr on their ds consoles, a play in the garden etc, its all about just keeping them ocupied before they get bored and wind you up, nans a great help to, gives me a break sometimes, gl anyway hun :)

I have a 22month ds and he's an absolute terror,I nap when he takes a nap and we go for long walks,he doesn't come out of his buggy though and we don't go to soft plays any more unless daddy comes aswell as this would mean me sprinting after him he's like a whippet,we find fun things to do in the house but on the whole my ds loves playing cars by himself so I sit on the sofa and watch him play and sing songs with him! It hasn't been too bad

This might sound horrible of me, but I send linds to daycare 2/wk when I work and I'm gonna KEEP sending her when I'm off on mat leave waiting for #2!! As much to keep her routine as to give me two days where I can sit my arse on the sofa and do NOTHING!!!

Ahh yes, I should've mentioned that... today is Sofia's first day at nursery!

Figured I'm going to need some time with the baby and this way she's used to it. She's going half day Wednesday and full-day Friday.

This morning I got my haircut (long overdue!).

Oh you lucky thing! :D God, that's the FIRST thing I'm doing: 38+1 I'm booking a hair apmt! Mine's like down to my butt and all uneven and splitty, I can't even DREAM of wearing it down anymore! :dohh: Glad to hear I'm not the only one doin' that...

Honestly I couldn't keep up with my 3 yr old right now. I'm on bedrest so it might be a bit different for me. I take my daughter to the sitters house M-F for about 6 hours a day. It's good to keep her in her routine and she just sees it as time to play with her friends. I think she would be utterly bored watching me lay around all day.
