Just thought I'd pass on some information that I was told by the breastfeeding support worker when I had Riley,

This cream is fantastic!! but is just short of a tenner a tube..

.. When LO is born, speak to you doctor and ask him/her to it prescribe it for you!!

Didn't even cross my mind.. So I asked the doctor after I was told, and boom, a free prescription

Thought I'd share as it's rather expensive

I was given the advice you should use it before birth to make sure your nipples are in tiptop condition, so say most women get sore nipples because they are already dry before birth-dunno if it's true but my lansinoh cream and pads are at the ready lol.

Good to know...I have the cream, but didn't know I should use it before the birth. It's not a script in the US, just over the counter.

Can't believe I didn't think of this!!! Spent a tenner on a tube at mothercare...let's hope I can find the receipt cos it's going right back!
