On Monday I finally had my lap and dye! They found that I was all clear and had no problems or blockages! So what happens next?

We've got a follow up appointment on July 22nd but I have no idea what they will do now.

Just a bit if back ground for those of you that don't know me. I was diagnosed with pcos over a year ago and I've been on metformin and clonus ever since and not even had a sniff of a bfp! Dh has had a sperm test and all is fine with him!

Anyone else in this situation? What happens next? Please help!

hi milliemoo, just wondering are you ov ok with the meds your on?

Well i think they're working! I now have 30 day cycles which I never had before and I also used ov predictor sticks which showed I was ovulating!

Oh and my temperature also supported my ovulation.

have you tried clomid yet? they didnt want me to start it until they knew my tubes were clear, i had hsg done to check mine
sometimes they still give you clomid, once they know your tubes are clear, even if you ov on your own. iv heard this is very sucessful in your situation, i think it just gives your eggs an extra boost.:bodyb:(think they need a kick up the ass sometimes, lol)
hope it all works out for you and its great news ruling out blocked tubes

Thanks! I've been on clomid for 9 months now and that's what's helped me have 30 day cycles but it hasn't helped me get a bfp unfortunately!

oh no how rubbish! atleast you dont have to wait too long until your next app
its horrible all the waiting to see isnt it, hope they can give ya help with it. x

I would recommend having your dh tested again. I was surprised because my dh's results were phenomenial on his test. Then a number of months later when we did an iui it was a veryyyyyyyyy low count. On his test the result was 280 million and the day of the iui was 6 million. The clinic even panicked and retraced their steps they were so shocked. So either things changed or an error was done with the original test.

I would recommend having your dh retested - I know they don't like it - but it is important info.

Goodluck!

Thanks blue! He did take another test a few months ago but we don't actually know what the results were as we haven't had an appointment since. I just take it as no news is good news but we'll find out in 2 weeks time!

Do you think they will try us with IUI?

It sounds likely that you could do an iui next.

Best wishes.
