Late period with symptoms, negative pregnancy test..

So to anybody who may currently be in or have been in this situation, I just would love thoughts, advice bc I have never been pregnant or experienced this before.

I am 7 days late for my period and took two pregnancy tests that both came out negative. I have been having early pregnancy symptoms for a week and a half. (i.e. nausea, lightheaded, breast tenderness, cramping)

My husband and I are not trying, in fact I have been on the pill, however 3-4 weeks ago I started taking antibiotics for 2 weeks straight.

I am not sure if the whole antibiotic cancelling out birth control is legit or not. And I am not sure what to think. Anybody have experience here or thoughts? I really don't know what to think here.

We both want a baby, just haven't started actually trying yet.

The best thing for you to do would be to get a blood test done

Did you find out if you were pregnant or did you get a period? Sometimes you can get an odd cycle.....I had this with a period late for 5 days before it showed.

Also it depends on what antibiotic you were taking. Some don’t affect the pill but your doctor should have said either way if it could.
