Really interesting, for anybody hadn't seen it in there already.
She's also put pictures of her placenta.
You could always do this if you're not sure what to do with your placenta - studies would suggest it helps to prevent post-natal depression if eaten when still relatively fresh (as in not frozen!).
I'm personally planning on planting mine, freezing first though until I have a house and a permanent resting place for it...but who knows, if I'm feeling adventurous I may try some. I actually think OH wants to
