I went for a bath this morning and when I came out I sat on the edge of the bed for around 10 mins, stood up and a gush of water/fluid came out of me, it wasn't loads, around 5cm. I went to the loo and wiped myself dry then stood up and water/fluid ran down both my legs, again not a lot but enough to run down my legs. I sat down and dried myself again, stood up and it happened again. Not had anything since then. Not sure if it was just bath water and I'm being paranoid, anyone have any ideas?

Lay down for 30 minutes and if it happens again, go to the hospital. ONce it starts it doesn't stop. But lay down, be still and if you experience another gush, it needs to be addressed immediately.

It's probably bathwater hun, there's no cause to worry unless this keeps happening.

It could be bathwater, but there is no real way of knowing unless you lie down still for a bit then get back up.

If you get more gushes, id head to hospital to have it checked. You don't want to think its bathwater when its not!!

This allllways happens to me after a bath, even before pregnancy. Probably because I like to lie in the bath for way too long!

What I'd do is dry your "bits" as well as you possibly can after your bath, then try to go pee afterwards and once again wipe really, really well with the bath tissue. Some water may still hang around, but it'll be much less.

I understand how you feel, though! I had a 'water discharge' scare too and have gone to my Dr. twice for it and it tested negative for amniotic fluid both times. An ultrasound showed the baby had plenty of fluid, too. Watery discharge can be nothing or something bad, which sucks and is stressful!
