I know I got this with my son but I think it wasn't till about 30 week or so.

Guess it's a good sign everything is getting ready lol.

Anyone else got leaky boobs already?

Mine was just left nipple and clear wet stuff.

Mine started leaking at 14 weeks! I'm surprised I don't need nursing pads yet.

Mine was clear, now its the typical cloudy yellow/gold stuff they describe.

I dont have any leaking yet............do all women get it DURING pregnancy? or just some?

Mine started at 19 weeks this time, I wondered if it was earlier due to stopping nursing my LO just before we fell pregnant. Weirdly I got ever so excited when I discovered it, my OH loves it but he is a bit wierd haha!!

Not everyone does grace :) I've noticed mine starting a tiny bit but not much.

I didnt leak any before DD was born, but noticed a bit on the left hand side this week!

THanks ladies. I was wondering about that.

I am reading up now on breastfeeding and when colostrom comes in vs milk, etc.
I "hope" to breastfeed so want to be as knowledgable as one can be beforehand.

any tips out there for moms with little ones that were successful? can I ask that here or do i need to start a new thread? :dohh:

I couldn't give much advice because I only breastfed for a month, due to her not latching well and not producing a whole lot of milk. I bet there might be a few who can help on here but if you want some expertise on breast feeding i'd make a new thread so that other women who had better luck in that area can see it :D

Mine started leaking at 19 1/2 weeks. It's my first baby, too! I was surprised. My doctor said it's normal though. :)

Mine never leaked with DS 1.

But this time my areolas felt really swollen and itchy and around 18 weeks, so I pushed on them and colostrum came out. So they aren't really leaking, but they are definitely producing. I take it as a good sign that everything is progressing as it should.

My one bit of advice for nursing is to really try and sleep for a few hour stretches at a time for one or two days before your milk comes in. Let daddy take over baby duty one night so you can get a solid 5-6 hours. You need rest for your milk to come in! Also drink plenty of fluids and eat healthfully and don't skimp on healthy calories. You will be thirsty and hungry all the time! <3

Hi Ladies!

I didn't leak at all until my DD was born although I noticed I'd started to leak slightly last week with this pregnancy.

So looking forward to BF a newborn again.........as apposed to a toddler that uses me as a climbing frame and kicks me in the face mid feed!:haha::dohh:

mine started at 12 weeks with my son lol im nearly 16 weeks and nothing yet thank god! lol
