lemsip max cold & flu capsules ?

Dose anyone know if i can take lemsip max cold & flu capsules if breastfeeding ?

They contain Phenylephrine which can often cause a significant reduction in breast milk. It can also have an effect on the baby and should be avoided.

Paracetamol, fluids and rest is the best thing.

I'm suffering with a cold too, last cold I had I was pregnant so no Lemsip then, now no Lemsip as BFing!

i remember ringing the doctor and asking about the lemsip cold and flu meds and was told not to take them while bfeeding, paracetamol only xx check with your GP tho xxx
