Hi all my partner and I have been trying to conceive for almost 2 years about 6 months ago our fertility specialists announced me with PCOS and I started taking letrozole tablets, I took a pregnancy test every day for 3 days and they have all come back positive I was wondering if the positives on the test could be from my medication. And if anyone else has had this happen to them or if I could be pregnant thank you

Sorry I was suppose to say about 3 days ago I took a pregnancy test and it said positive so I took three more and they have all said positive so I’m wondering if it could be a faulse positive through medication

Hi Tedar! I sure hope you got your BFP! I would go to the doctor and get a test there! I too was prescribed Letrozole plus Provera to jump start my cycle! Please keep me updated on your results! Keep the faith!

Thank you Atown22 I got a positive urine test from the doctor waiting to hear back from my blood tests today extremely nervous

If anyone else has had this experience on letrozole tablets and has received any faulse positives please let me know thank you

fingers crossed for you xx

Thanks everyone my blood tests came back with high levels so is positive I have my first 8 week scan in 2 weeks I’m a bit worried that I’m not though I’m 6 weeks apparently but haven’t had any symptoms please fill me in if anyone knows what could be happening thank you

Congratulations on your BFP! And enjoy your journey! Everyone’s experience of pregnancy is different! Just relax, and try not obsess over pregnancy symptoms. I’m so excited for you!!!

Thanks is won’t know until two weeks at my ultra sound if I am actually pregnant I am a bit worried as I have felt no changes or feel any differently besides a bit hungrier but I am still wondering if it could be my letrozole tablets that are the side effect of this hope not thanks everyone

First of all, @Tedar, congratulations!!! Sounds like a definite BFP!! Once you have blood work, that confirms it. I went through 6 rounds of fertility treatments when trying to conceive my first child, had success with provera, clomid, and HCG trigger shot. I then was able to get pregnant on my own with our second child, but we are now trying for baby #3 to complete our family and we are again having issues. We just finished our first cycle of treatments with provera and 2.5mg Letrozole on CD 3-7, and it did not work. Didn't even ovulate which broke my heart a bit. I am trying to be more optimistic this time around knowing it has worked for us before, keeping my head up, and staying positive, but when I got that phone call from the nurse to confirm I hadn't ovulated, I was crushed. I know this can work and know it does work. I think the emotions are coming from the hormones and memories.
So, today is a new day. I have already started the provera again (doctor prescribed it for 14 days this time around, not sure what the difference is between 10 to 14 days, if any of you know, please enlighten me! lol) and will be taking 5mg of Letrozole CD 3-7. Fingers crossed that I can at least ovulate this time around! Not ovulating really brings down my spirit!

Hi had my first ultrasound yesterday and unfortunately for me some very upsetting news I was / till passed through am pregnant but unfortunately I’m meant to be 8 weeks but in both scans and an oral scan there was a sack and yolk in my uterus but no form of a baby I still don’t understand why or what this means but no baby for me I have to go back in 10 days but another fail. If anyone else has ever had this help thanks everyone

I’m so sorry to hear that @Tedar. I’m praying for you! Please continue to keep us updated on your journey. Keep the faith that one day you will get your rainbow.

@FaithnHope41 Hey! Sorry, I have no experience with 5mg Femara. I just finished my first round of 2.5 Femara Cd 3-7, and I’m praying for my miracle! I am on CD 9 and got a BFP OPK today! I’m so excited! I have a 3 year old daughter and it took us 2 years to get her. This is my first medicated cycle, so we’re Praying great results!
