LH Surge for 18 of 20 days. No PCOS.

I am 43 and TTC my 1st. 20 days ago I decided to use an ovulation test for the 1st time. I have shown a strong positive for an LH surge (POAS) for 18 of the last 20 days. The 2 days when the test line was lighter than the control line were last week when I had 2 days of brown discharge. AF should have been 26 days ago.


About 2-3 months ago I was checked for a cyst with pelvic exam and ultrasound. All clear. I am having no other symptoms of PCOS except these missing periods which could be due to not ovulating the month before.


Question: Do some women just always have LH in their urine? Last pregnancy test was 2 days ago. Negative.

You always produce enough LH for a faint line on the opk but it should not be enough to register positive for this many days , I would call your doctor and explain whats going on, your doctor can give you a better diagnosis.
