LH surge right before AF due?

How many of you get a positive OPK before AF arrives? I'm 11dpo today (confirmed with BBT) and I got a + OPK this morning but a negative HPT. Is an LH surge common before the ?

That happened to me once I figured it was just a glitch or maybe the OPK is picking up another hormone or false + ...

Some do get a slight LH surge right before AF and its not uncommon to have more than one LH surge in a cycle--this does not mean ovulation is occurring more than once it is only a fluctuation in the hormones. Multiple surges could signal a problem hormonally that should be addressed with your doctor. I would treat the surge as a possible indication of ovulation about to occur to not miss the egg if in fact you are just now ovulating and your previous bbt though showing you had ovulated--maybe you didn't at that time. (I hope I got that out there and it made sence.) Most women that a positive OPK and are pregnant will have a positive hpt too with a positive opk...

I've heard it happens. I second the bding just in case. But I've also heard where women get a +opk before they get a +hpt. Sorry I wasn't much help, but I hope you figure out what is going on soon (and I also hope it is a bfp) Goood luck! =)
