Hi everyone, I am so confused and just wanted some opinions or experiences with af after mc /d&c.

I had my d&c on August 15th. I was 16w4d. Bled light to medium for 7 days then spotted for another 2 days. We started bding often just in case we could catch an egg before my first AF lol. We did not.

Now I am 3 days into what I think is my AF and it's so light. It's heavier than spotting but still pretty light. I spotted for a couple days before I started counting it as AF as it did get heavier and red. I thought for sure by day 3 it would be heavier but it's still pretty light. I am not having any cramps either.

Has anyone else had a fairly light AF after their mc/d&c??

Mine has been super heavy and very crampy but is letting up relatively quickly. I always have heavy periods so I'm not surprised that this one is just that it seems to be leaving rather quickly.

i had an emergency d&c on july 4th (13weeks) after loosing too much blood during mc  i had spotting and bleeding right up untill the 18th. I then got my first af 8th aug which lasted my normal 4days but it was very light and not painful at all. I had my 2nd af 9th sep and that was really heavy and crampy which is normal for me. xx

I had a very light 1st period (took 9 weeks after my d&cm) but that was normal for me....but every period after that has been extremely heavy n very very painful....I'm hoping I get back to normal soon its been 5 periods n not normal yet.

I just wanted to update that my AF started out light then got heavier for a couple days adn back to light then spotting for two days and its gone now, lasted about 8 days including the spotting after. I am so thankful its gone now. I had no cramping at all though, I dont usually have crampy Afs though.
