Lightening/dropping at 34 weeks?

    Hello all lovely ladies... Sorry if this has been asked before but I was wondering if you drop/bump lightens at 34 weeks? I have been suffering from really bad rib flare (terrible rib pain) for the past 4-5 weeks and then it seems to have died down since yesterday. And I'm wanting to wee a lot. Does it mean the baby has dropped? And does it mean an early labour? Thanks. :) x

    I can sympathise with you, I've been having the same bad rib flare for a while now, but at my appointment with the mw last week (34 wks) she said he was right on the tip of the pelvis ready to drop any day. I can't wait so I can finally breathe again lol, and hopefully ease the rib a little. As for it meaning an early labour I can't help on that one but would be interested to know.
