obviously free to add!! I had this for a week or so now and i noticed more and more girls are getting sick!! so i thought id share =]

I think this is the same list or very close to the list I have too, got it from the doctors office when I was a little further than you so I'll look at mine later to see if theirs anything else but I think your list covers what my list covers as well.

Good job posting this for the other girls it didn't even cross my mind lol.

Thanks! I've actually had a sore throat and felt cold-ish for the past 2 days, but was scared to take anything for it.

Australian doctors would disagree with a few of those...

Tylenol is a huge no no over here. There are a few other ones.

Is tylenol similiar to nurofen? I just steer clear of all medicine, taken 1 panadol my whole pregnancy.

Good list!
My doctor said I can't use vicks, I really need it right now!! booo :(

Actually when I read this properly there are ALOT of things I've been told not to take, like all cough medicines, they contain something we shouldnt have.

My dr said those were fine for us here. I guess it varies thou. Don't forget, some drs don't really say anything about lunch meats and some make a huge deal about it. Just depends on the dr. I suppose if you are having a normal pregnancy and are not high-risk, these should be fine. :)

they cant be a huge no-no everywhere if my dr told me I can have them. Also a couple of my friends who are/were pregnant that went to different drs have the same list. So it can't be everywhere. I think it just depends on the dr hun :flower:

My nurse gave a a little handy note book so whenever I get stuff like this, I know what's alright to take :)
Very similar to this list.
It's very helpful, so thank you.

I think it also depends on country. We'd be shot (not literally) if we took half of those things. Cold/flu tablets are off limits, most cough mixtures, alot of painkillers, antibiotics etc etc. The warn us about Listeriosis and stuff, but it's not just sandwhich meats. Do they warn you about salmonella poisoning?

So many things; i won't touch anything but Mylanta and paracetamol though.

I dont really think any medicine is nessecary during pregnancy unless you really need it, if you have a cold or a headachr suck it up? Not really worth risking your LOs health..
