Little worried

Eugh this is probably TMI for some people but i'm kind of freaking out right now.

OH thinks i have thrush but today one of the lips of my vagina has become extremely swollen, red and sore..feels like there's some fluid in there and it just hangs out like a tongue.. i'm really worried. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow but it's not with a female doctor

Anyone else had anything like this? Would they examine me? I hate the thought of someone looking at my vag i know i'm pregnant but i'm so modest..

A friend of mine had something similar. You'll definitely need to get it looked at, but please try not to be too afraid, he's a dr and has seen it all. And like the other poster said, take DH with you if it will make you feel better. Best of luck tomorrow!!!

I agree with the others. Best to have it looked at. Also if OH can't go, they can have a female nurse or medical assistant in the room with you during an exam like that. You may have to ask, but a lot more it's becoming standard practice. Good Luck hun!
