Little worried

So LO is still in my room as we were in a ground floor 1 bedroom flat until he was 7 months old. Then we moved but didn't have the money to get carpet and didn't want him in his room without a carpet.

Well now he's nearly 10 months and still in our room as his room still doesn't have carpet. It gets so cold in that room no matter how long the heating is on for.

Only problem is, LO is getting really bad on a night time. He wakes every 1-3 hours every night so me and OH aren't getting a good night sleep. I have got him into a routine etc. When he is waking up we just can't calm down, he doesn't just cry he screams to the point he is sick.

OH believes it could be because he is ready to go in his own room. He wants to put him in there tonight but I am unsure because his room gets so cold and he will refuse to sleep with blankets on him . He doesn't have thick PJs either, I am going to buy him some but doesn't have any money until Friday to do so.

What would you do? Would you wait until have carpets or just put him in his room?

I would wait tbh if its that cold. But if you do what about a sleeping bag? Or extra warm pjs like you said . I suppose its worth a shot if you can keep him warmer. Xx

Hiya.
My little one loves to sleep in the cool - he wakes up much more frequently if he's too hot. At the moment he sleeps in a baby grow and a sleeping gro-bag, maybe that might be an idea if he kicks blankets off?? (my LO also squrirms and kicks any blankets off him as soon as he goes down)

I think at 8- 9months a lot of us are having rubbish nights sleep though, from dreaded regression and teething so it may just be a phase he's going through!

I was going to try and put him in his own room tonight with it being warmish but can't as OH is going to his friends. Will tomorrow .
